Educator

The core of my passion for music teaching is centered around fostering a love of learning. As an educator, I believe that I will never reach a “final product” both in my general knowledge and in my musicianship. I want to inspire my students to be lifelong learners, and to believe that they can achieve more than what they think is possible. As a musician, I want my students to discover their appreciation for music and how it connects people from all walks of life. They do not need to leave my classroom being a top notch classical musician, but they should leave with a better understanding of music as a whole and its impact on the world, and themselves. I hope that some students will discover their passion for music as well! And finally, as a music educator, I want my students to have fun while learning, playing or singing music. I plan to continue to find more strategies for effective and efficient music teaching that is engaging and enjoyable for my students through a thoughtful curriculum curated to reflect the interests and goals of my students.
